Thursday, 15 June 2023 So far we have had a very exciting spring. The board has been restructuring and we have been able to host a couple of successful events. Earlier in May, Beta Technologies hosted us for a tour and presentation at their site in South Burlington. We had a full house which was amazing to see and we are actively looking to work with a host for an event in the fall in a similar fashion.
We have also opened voting for our new bylaws which is closing this week. Stay tuned next week for the results of the vote. Additionally, at the beginning of June, we had two separate cooking opportunities at the Ronald McDonald House in Burlington. The volunteers came together to prepare a meal for those staying at the house while earning PDUs. Those who came on June 1st prepared enchiladas while those who came on June 8th, prepared spaghetti and meatballs. Thank you to everyone who participated. Seeing the sign-up fill so fast just reassured us that we need to organize more volunteer opportunities later this year.
