2015 PMI CV Board Elections
This coming December the PMICV will hold elections for the 2015 Board of Directors. Every position is up for reelection. Description of
positions, expectations and requirements are noted herein or on our website. If you would like to be considered for a position you are
received by end of November. On December 11, via telephone conference call, PMICV will host an annual meeting of the membership and all
voting members in good standing of the PMICV shall have the right to vote. The candidates who receives a majority of votes for each office
shall be elected and take office beginning January 1, 2015.
PRESIDENT - The President shall be the Chief Executive Officer for the Chapter and of the Board, and shall perform such duties as are customary for presiding officers, including making all required appointments with the approval of the Board.
PROGRAMS - Responsible for planning, scheduling, arranging, and supervising the performance of each PMI event; directs the development of a program theme for the year; plans, schedules, and arranges Chapter program meetings; develops awards plan to recognize Chapter achievements; Master of ceremonies for each Chapter meeting.
MEMBERSHIP - Chapter liaison responsible for membership issues, for recruitment of members into the Chapter, and supervises membership activities. Final authority on issues involving veracity of membership, such as voting, running for or holding of office and is point of contact with the Headquarters organization on membership issues including membership lists and databases.
EDUCATION - Responsible for professional education programs, interfaces with the Headquarters organization on all matters concerning PMP certification and with local Universities and Colleges on establishment/maintenance of scholarship programs.
FINANCE- The Vice President Finance as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer shall oversee the management of funds for duly authorized purposes of the Chapter.
COMMUNICATIONS & WEBSITE- VP communications is responsible for maintaining Chapter mailing/distribution list(s); add and delete list members as requested. He is also responsible for communicating meeting information to appropriate/interested networking groups.
MARKETING - Responsible for creating and implementing a Chapter marketing plan. The key objective of the Public Relations team is to communicate our message of project, program, and portfolio management value to the Champlain Valley community and beyond.
REGISTRAR - Registrar is responsible for coordinating entire registration process. Registrar would also be responsible for resolving issues participant may have during the process.
