Key Note Speakers:
- Rob Church is a Vermont native raised in Colchester who graduated from UVM in 1998 with a BS & MS in Mech Eng. Following graduation, he went on to work in Longmont, CO for Seagate Technologies (Hard Disk Drive Data Storage) as a design engineer as well as a Technical Customer Manager. Upon returning to the Green Mtn State in 2008, Rob worked as a Project Manager for what was at the time Goodrich Aerospace on their HUMS (Health and Utility Maintenance Systems) product line. In 2010, Rob took a position with BioTek Instruments (now Agilent) managing the Manufacturing Engineering Team, in early 2023 Rob took on the role of PMO (Project Management Office) and Operations Manager within the R&D team. In his free time Rob enjoys playing guitar, mtn biking, skiing and spending time with his family.
- Jamie Gravelin graduated from UVM in 1986 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Gravelin started his career in commercial and military aerospace system and software design at Simmonds Precision, in Vergennes, VT. From there, his career ventured into video and graphic card design, biomedical test equipment design, semiconductor x-ray lithography stepper design, and is currently an R&D project manager at Agilent Technologies. Mr. Gravelin attained his PMP certification in 2017.
- Amit Lodha is a hands-on Manufacturing Executive with expertise in Strategy development and Implementation, manufacturing operations, global supply chain and sales forecast development. He has completed BS in Mechanical Eng and MS in Manufacturing Management. He worked for Alcoa Inc for 6 years in various position including Purchasing Manager. Amit moved to VT in 2005 to work as Materials Manager for BioTek Instruments Inc. He has since been with the company and was instrumental in managing the transition of BioTek to Agilent after its acquisition in 2019. Amit has held several positions in BioTek/ Agilent and is currently AVP of OFS. In addition to this Amit is active in community and is involved in several local non profits.
